Sensory Experiences

Tommy can't live without being outside everyday, the more outside time - the happier he is. I think he is brainwashing our children into his way of being. I don't think that is a bad thing but there comes a time when being able to sit still inside and do a quiet activity makes mommy a happy woman. 

No such luck tonight. 

Tommy gets home about 6:30 on Wednesdays. We have been doing some yard work in the back; okay, really, trying to grow grass for the fourth year in a row. So he took the kids out there to water the seed we laid down over the weekend. 

I came outside to find my squealing children enjoying a sensory, outdoor experience with Tommy in control of the hose. Needless to say, they were stripped down and thrown into the bath tub immediately after this experience.
